AMFA operates from Johannesburg, South Africa, a strategic inland port for serving Africa. AMFA ships by air, sea, and/or truck, tailoring a custom supply chain system to fit each customer's unique requirements. Due to its base of operations on the continent, AMFA provides fast turnaround times with an average of 28 days per order. AMFA's efficient supply chain system eliminates long lead times, reducing the need to carry large inventories. AMFA works to keep its customers appropriately stocked at all times with medicines and medical supplies. Partnering both with its customers and suppliers, AMFA works to establish a just-in-time inventory management system. When customers provide monthly forecasts, AMFA schedules the production of medicines to be in line with the customer's stock requirements. This ensures customers get what they need, when they need it. |
